Why TSC Has Until January To Reroute Delocalized Teachers. Delocalized teachers will be rerouted as instructed by the National Assembly committee in charge of education. The TSC has been given until the end of January 2023 to make sure that delocalized teachers are rehomed and their routes are not changed.
Recently, when the TSC Chairperson, Jamleck Muturi, and the Head of Legal, Calvin Anyuor, appeared before MPs, they were given instructions to make sure the parliamentarians’ decision is implemented fully by the commission.

Julius Melly, a Tinderet MP who chairs the education committee, gave the commission until January 31 to make sure that all instructors who had been delocalized had been sent back to their original locations.This is because they legally deserve it and failure to owner it will amount to a bigger problem on the commissioners end.

Unlike other regions, where the requirement is five years, the North Eastern region requires delocalized teachers to have completed three years of service.

The House requested that the Commission alter its policy so that newly hired teachers are assigned to their zones and that delocalized instructors are sent back to their original locations.
Titus Khamala, a Lurambi MP, had brought up the motion in Parliament on November 3rd.
This only indicates that instructors will be transferred to a new school within their current zone in the future.
