ELECTIONS OF CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES COMMITTEE .Co-curricular activities are activities outside the classroom.They enrich or supplement classroom learnings.
They are ungraded and usually do not affect academic scores of learners but they do supplement education.
They include;Sports teams,math clubs,chess clubs,talent shows, writing competitions,debates,mock trials,drawing competitions and theatre Performances.

Today the ministry of education has released a circular requesting regional directors of education,county directors education and sub-county directors to initiate and conduct elections of officials in various committees.
The Directive is illustrated below.

RE: ELECTIONS OF CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES COMMITTEE
As you’re aware the existing Co-curricular activities Committee have been in place for (5) years are therefore due to expire in February 2023.
You are therefore requested to initiate and conduct the elections of officials of the various committees from the sub-county to regional level as per the guidelines that was issued vial circular MOE.HQS/3/4/15/NOLII(129) date 5th November 2018.
Prepare and forward to the Director Field Coordination and Co-Curricular Activities the Schedule and programs of the elections for monitoring the progress.
