MOE:Approved School Calender 2023. The Ministry of Education has announced a 47-week academic calendar for Kenyan schools today, Friday, January 6, 2023.
The calendar includes all of the crucial term dates, including the opening and closing dates for half terms.

The Ministry declared in a public statement that the academic calendar had reverted to normal and that everything will proceed as usual starting on January 23 when all schools will formally reopen.
The first academic term of 2023 will begin on January 23, 2023, and it is anticipated that it will last for 13 weeks.
Half-term will start 23rd march for three days.The second half of the term, which runs until April 22nd, 2023.
Term 2 will officially begin on May 8th, 2023.It Is anticipated to last for 13 weeks.
Half-term will last for three days from 29th June to 2rd July.
The final term, or term 3, which is always the briefest in any academic year, will also start.
