KICD Clears Air On Fake Circular About Teachers Training

Re:Fake Training of Teachers at KICD

KICD Refutes Teachers Training.The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) wants to warn educators and the general public against misleading material being spread by swindlers that falsely claims the Institute will be holding training on several days, most notably January 6, 2023.

Teachers are the main target of the unscrupulous individuals, who instruct them to register with Ksh. 1,000 for the purchase of a T-shirt and a badge as they attend training. The act is considered fraud and is therefore illegal.

KICD has NOT organised any such training of teachers, nor has it requested teachers to register with money for such an activity. The public is therefore requested to be extra vigilant and report such cases to the nearest police station.
