TSC To Confirm All Current Serving INTERNS Into P& P Terms.The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has Confirmed that it will hire all interns teacher serving currently into permanent and Pensionable terms.
In a circular released by teacher Employer has asked intern teachers not to apply for the advertised slots on December 2022.

The commission states that it will offer employment forms for permanent and Pensionable terms to interns.
When hired, secondary school employees will be sent to teach in junior secondary schools in the counties where they are currently employed.
In addition,intern teachers working in primary may be retained or deployed to other schools within same counties.
The County directors are preparing a list of all intern teachers who have not been absorbed on permanent terms.
All these intern teachers shall complete employment application forms and get employment offer letters prior to mass recruitment exercise countrywide.
File Copy of the Offer of Employment Letter, Application for Employment Forms together with all the relevant attachments shall be submitted to the TSC Headquarters as per the recruitment process roadmap.
Processing of Offer of Employment and Offer of Internship Letters shall be done at the county level.
The offer letters for serving teacher interns and those who have never been engaged by the Commission shall bear Folio 1 (TSC/111111) and Folio 2 (e.g., TSC/11101).
The offer letters for those being converted to permanent and pensionable terms of service will bear folio 3 (tsc/1101).

The TSC County Director and the TSC Sub-County Director shall be required to photocopy the letters for their files.
A template for the appointment letter and offer of internship letter will be provided.
Each candidate should fill out only one Application for Employment form or receive only one Offer of Internship letter.
The offer of employment letters shall be made on the special papers.County directors have already been issued special papers for the exercise.Care must be taken to avoid wastage due to limited resources.
Templates for the Offer of Employment letters, Offer of Internship letters, and Internship Agreement shall be shared later.
Recruitment Road Map

Vetting at County Level , Handling of Complaints, Signing of Internship Agreements, Offer of Internship Letters & Signing of Offer of Employment Letters will take place between Tuesday 24th January, 2023 – Tuesday 31st January,2024
The Commission wishes to lay emphasis on the need to ensure that all the newly recruited teachers report to schools on 1st February 2023. Ensure strict adherence to the timelines. This calls for sacrifice in making maximum use of the limited time..
