KUCCPS Warning to 2022 Candidates.The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) is a State Coorporation that provides career guidance and selects students for admission in universities, colleges and TVETS.
KUCCPS Strong Warning to 2022 Candidates
The Admission body has send a strong warning to KCSE 2022 Candidates over limited number of university slots.
In a public notice dated January 30,2023 the placement body advised students to be cautious when applying for the limited slots.

Kuccps also revealed that the student portal is not yet opened but soon they’ll open it it to allow KCSE 2022 to apply for courses and Universities.
“Once we open the portal, Eligible students will be required to fill their first revision based on application,” Kuccps stated.
“Failure to apply during the second revision, majority of the key courses like medicine, Engineering, law, computer science and other competitive courses will not be available since there are limited slots.”

Additionally, The placement body will provide guide on various courses offered in all public universities and colleges.
“In Kuccps website students can download Pdfs available cantaining various courses offered in different universities and colleges,” Kuccps advised.
“Students and Parents should avoid searching for courses in Google, they can easily be misled. Everybody should dwell on KUCCPS Pdfs, they contain enough information for every course.”

Application of Courses in 2023
The placement body explained how students will apply for courses according to their mean grades.
Candidates who attained C+ (plus) will apply fof degree courses while those who scored C plains and C- (minus) will apply for diploma courses.
“Students applying for degree courses to ensure they’ve checked required minimum subject requirements and cut off points,” Kuccps advised
The cut off points will be calculated and posted on students portal automatically for easier work on Applicants.
The application fee remains to be Sh.1,500 for different degree and diploma courses.
