TSC Verification of P1 documents.The Teachers Service Commission(TSC) advertised application of deployment to junior secondary schools by P1 Teachers With Degree and Diploma certificates two weeks ago.
TSC requested those meeting the set requirements to use the link https://tsconline.tsc.go.ke/tsc-teacher/login to submit their details online.
However, the teachers employer restricted the application process to teachers on permanent and pensionable terms in primary schools.

The exercise will end on 6th February 2023.Thus it will pave way for the commission to start verification of documents ahead of deployment.
According to TSC, the verification of documents will kick off on 7th February 2023 for All applicants across the nation.
The verification process will be physical at TSC sub-county offices and the following documents to be verified from teachers includes.
- Degree certificates
- Diploma certificates
- KCPE and KCSE certificates
- PTE certificates
- Transcripts
- Leaving certificates
- Appointment letters
Note :Teachers With Degree and Diplomas from foreign universities must provide clearance from the Commission for University Education.
Also teachers whose information is lacking In (TMIS) Teacher Management Information System to lias with with their Sub County offices and ICT officers for assistance.

1. Must have at least a C+ (Plus) mean grade at Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent
2. Hold a C+ (Plus) in the two teaching subjects at Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent
3. At least 8 Units in each of the two teaching subjects.
4. Must be serving as a primary school teacher under TSC
The Commission is on a mission to fill the teacher shortage In junior secondary schools for almost 1.2M learners.
The ministry of education approved 27,000 primary schools across the country to domicile junior secondary learners.
