Nancy Macharia before education committee.TSC CEO Nancy Macharia recently faced the Education Committee to discuss the issue of teacher recruitment.
She was invited to the committee to provide answers to some of the questions that were raised by the members of the committee.
The main issue discussed was the issue of proper recruitment and training of teachers, as well as the need for better remuneration for those already employed by the TSC.
The committee also discussed the need for proper and timely data collection, which would help in the effective management and utilization of the TSC resources.
The committee was also interested in the progress made by the TSC in terms of developing a system of performance assessment for teachers.
