TRANSFER DELAYS IN VARIOUS COUNTIES
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is facing delays in the transfer of delocalized teachers.
This is due to the fact that some counties are overstaffed and there are no available replacements for those seeking intercounty or interregional Transfers.
Regional and County directors have also said the lack of better replacements for secondary school teachers has been the contributing factor to transfer delays.
TSC boss Nancy Macharia has said that the remaining 120 teachers could not get possible matches to replace them in their current stations and that the transfers must be balanced to ensure schools run smoothly.
