Assistant Cabinet Secretaries (CAS). On February 18, 2023, President William Ruto appointed 21 Cabinet Assistant Secretaries (CAS) to serve in various ministries.
The new appointments were made with the intention of strengthening the executive arm of the government.
The PSC has invited members of the public to submit their views on the proposed establishment of the position of Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS)
The most notable appointments include Cleophas Malala as Cabinet Assistant Secretary for Interior.
